  Excellent audio products. I recently purchased a Montrose Turntable with the well-designed F&R tonearm, Maverick preamp, and a great, entry level Denon cart to pair with my vintage Marantz. The Montrose has excellent dynamics, it's built like a tank, with a solid, industrial heirloom-quality platter and plinth. I heard some mid-range in my jazz vinyl for the first time that just never came through on my old Rega. My rock and post-punk records have some new definition and clarity in the treble and hi-mids that just wasn't there with the other TT's I've owned. That annoying icepick tone is totally gone. F&R has a great design aesthetic. I'm really excited to watch them grow and refine their products even further. If you want a unique, contemporary, made in USA audiophile product, then check 'em out.
